LilyPad Beginner’s Kit

I recently ordered the LilyPad Beginner’s Kit from SparkFun. This kit includes the LilyPad Simple instead of the original LilyPad.

I haven’t been able to much about the benefits and drawbacks of the LilyPad Simple as opposed to the original LilyPad. But, one thing to keep in mind is that the LilyPad Simple does include a LiPo charging circuit! I originally ordered a separate LiPo charger, thinking that had been omitted from the kit.

I also ordered the LilyPad Accelerometer, an original LilyPad since I don’t know the differences, and a LilyPad Power Supply for my large collection of rechargeable AAA batteries.
